Pakistan Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Overseas launches first rent-free workspace project for Pakistanis in Dubai

‘Star Business Centre’ in Dubai becomes the first business centre in UAE which has started offering rent-free workspaces to Pakistani entrepreneurs and companies who plan to start and expand in UAE, in line with the UAE and Pakistan’s economic reforms agenda to encourage new entrepreneurs

The Honourable advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development; Mr. Zulfi Bukhari has negotiated launched rent-free workspaces with Star Business Centre, owned by Samana Group of Companies in Dubai for new Pakistani entrepreneurs, business persons in Dubai, UAE. This is in line with the UAE and Pakistan’s economic reforms to support entrepreneurs to start their business, Star Business Centre, became the first Pakistani company in the UAE which is supporting Pakistani professionals, start-ups and companies who want to start and expand their businesses in Dubai.

“We appreciate the spirit of Samana Group of Companies who has become the first Pakistani business group in Dubai offering rent-free workspaces for three months to new Pakistani entrepreneurs, business persons in Dubai, UAE. While launching the generous gesture of Samana Group of Companies at their head Office in Business Bay, Dubai, he says said that this gesture is in line with the vision of our Prime Minister Imran Khan who tolling hard to make Pakistan a debt-free and economically independent country.

Lauding Samana Group’s as a great and workable, Hon. Zulfi Bukhari invited Samana Group CEO Imran Farooq to visit Pakistan and meet him to explore the possibilities of introducing the similar initiatives in Pakistan. He promised to provide all-out support to expand Samana Group in Pakistani. He says Pakistan needs the businessmen like Imran Farooq.

The recent spate of business-friendly reforms by the UAE government, including 10-year visas for investors and professionals as well as a move to allow 100 per cent foreign business ownership, along with some economic stimulus packages unveiled by Dubai and Abu Dhabi separately will increased the investor confidence of Pakistanis in the UAE.

Mr. Imran Farooq, Chief Executive Officer of Samana Group of Companies, the holding company of the Start Business Centre Dubai, said: “We welcome Pakistan’s initiatives of opening up country’s economy. We, as a member of Dubai’s business community, equally stand by the initiatives launched by our new government. And we welcome Pakistani businessmen who plan to start business in Dubai but they do not have enough investment and technical know-how to start with. We encourage them to come forward and join our first of its kind offer of rent-free workspaces at our Star Business Centre for initial three months. We will also provide free business advisory.”
