Grundfos, the award-winning world leader in advanced pump and water application systems, organized the Grundfos Family Day for all employees based in Grundfos Dubai Office, at Miramar Al Aqah Beach Resort in Fujairah. The family event took place during 23-24 November 2018.
With the participation of 110 families, the two days event represented a great opportunity for employees and their families to have fun, relax, build strong relationship with each other, and align with the company values. The Grundfos Family Day comes in line with the company’s social responsibility policy towards its employees.
Commenting on the event, Kostas Poulopoulos, General Manager, Grundfos Gulf Distribution FZE noted, “As a result of the company’s firm belief that employees are the most valuable asset for Grundfos, we organized this family event to offer our people an escape from the fast-paced life of the city. The event also aimed to strengthen the bonds between employees outside work, and promote the sense of their belonging to the bigger family that gathers them all, Grundfos.”
“The Grundfos Family Day was a great opportunity to remember the impact we have on this world by stressing on the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals. We at Grundfos are committed to two goals, namely: goal number 6 on water and sanitation, and goal number 13 on climate change,” he added.
The families spent joyful times at the resort as they played different games for both adults and kids. The achievements of the year were celebrated with outstanding performances by employees in an effort to foster team building and incorporate the values of Grundfos. The performances represented the home countries of the employees adding a marvelous taste of the different and diverse cultures in the Grundfos family; this diversity that represents one of the major strengths that Grundfos takes pride in, and reflects its global fabric that supports its operations worldwide.
