Al Tayer praised his colleague for her “distinguished studies and perseverance”, which he said reflects the great interest that the UAE attaches to its people, in supporting their higher research that benefits the nation, and their employers.

HE said: “We are committed to initiatives that empower female employees to better perform in their positions at DEWA and motivate them to contribute effectively to the UAE’s overall national development process.

“DEWA plays a pivotal role in supporting the female-empowerment journey initiated by our founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

“We remain committed to our female employees, to strengthen their capabilities and harness their potential to contribute to the empowerment of society as a whole.”
