Al Bustan Centre & Residence, the popular hotel-apartment among tourists and businessmen in the heart of Dubai, is driven to ensure the well-being of its employees by all means. Committed to educate its employees on the importance of taking personal care advice along with Skin Care, Oral Health & Eye Check, the hotel apartment recently hosted a wellness workshop with Lifestyle Kinetics to bring the employee wellness program into action, as part of its Responsible Awareness Program.
Workplace stress is evident among employees that take a toll on their physical and psychological self. According to Cigna Health Insurance Survey, it was found that office stress in the UAE alone escalated from 35 percent to 45 percent in 2018. Al Bustan Centre & Residence is carrying out several initiatives to make sure their colleagues do not fall under the stress-employee percentage.
Moussa El Hayek, Chief Operating Officer of Al Bustan Centre and Residence said, “Ergonomics is taken seriously at Al Bustan Centre & Residence; hence we have been enabling our colleagues with regular health wellness at work. Today’s Wellness and Engagement was focused on allowing our colleagues to have an open and caring work culture, which significantly impacts employee productivity and efficiency in all dimensions of work.
“Apart from the other sessions, associates also got an eye checkup; allowing more than 70 employees, including senior leadership who benefited from the Wellness Program” he added further.
