Long-time fan of Dubai’s Lime Tree Café? Can’t get enough of its city-beating (still!) carrot cake? Before the end of this month, you’ll now be able to get your chops around a slice in a fifth Dubai location for the long-standing local café chain.
Opening in May, Lime Tree Café’s latest branch will see the brand move into Emirates Living for the first time, with a venue at The Springs Souk.
The hugely popular mall is already home to a six-screen Reel Cinemas, shops such as Aldo, Daiso, Faces and Mothercare, grocery stores including Marks & Spencer, Carrefour Market and BiOrganic, and grooming and beauty salons for men and women.
Dining options in the mall currently include Asia Tang, Carluccio’s and Le Pain Quotidien, with Lime Tree set to bring even more choice to the complex.
Expect artfully roasted coffee, fresh salads, sandwiches (hello, hot and melty lavash), quiches, hearty breakfasts and the brand’s iconic, ever-changing array of cakes and baked goods, plus packaged goodies such as biscotti to take home.
The homegrown café brand, which first launched in Jumeirah 1 over a decade ago, currently has four branches across the city. In addition to the original, you’ll now find outlets in Al Quoz (beside The Courtyard Gallery), in Al Safa, along Sheikh Zayed Road (opposite Gold & Diamond Park), and a smaller, ‘lite’ branch at The Beach, opposite Jumeirah Beach Residence.
