Management from Zulekha Hospital and Patient’s Friends Committee have marked World Kidney Day by visiting a number of patients suffering from kidney disorders in Zulekha Hospital Sharjah.
Mr. Mohammad Abdulla Al Jodar, Chief Executive Officer of Patients Friends Committee was joined by Dr. Rashid Alqasim, Deputy Director of Dubai Police Medical Centre, who expressed their gratitude to Zulekha Hospital for the services and care being offered to the patients.
Zulekha Hospital has been working closely with Patient’s Friends Committee since 2013 and has successfully supported more than 200 patients offering dialysis treatments.
Mr. Mohammad Abdulla Al Jodar said, “Patient’s Friends Committee believes Zulekha Hospital has been taking extensive care of our patients and therefore we are willing to extend more support, expand the facilities and help more people in our communities who are in need of regular dialysis procedures.”
Mr. Taher Shams, Managing Director, Zulekha Hospital added, “Our collaboration with Patient’s Friends Committee has been very fruitful and we are thankful to them for the opportunities to save hundreds of lives. We open to more associations with various committees who intend to give back to the communities and make a difference to lives touched.”
