Government speed up Emiratisation plans as nearly 1000 locals are recruited in 75 days
Young professionals and graduates from across the UAE looking to ignite their careers will soon descend upon the halls of Dubai World Trade Centre for vital face time with a wide range of employers committed to recruiting at the country’s leading jobs fair.
With the government speeding up the implementation of its Emiratisation agenda, close to a 1,000 Emirati workers have been hired by UAE financial and banking institutions in the last 75 days alone . As more positions are expected to unfold in the coming months, such opportunity to prepare and empower Emirati job seekers at Careers UAE is hotly anticipated.
Encouraging candidates to utilise the valuable time spent with employers, Bayt.com, the number one job site in the Middle East and the show’s Strategic Careers Partner, has put together a four-point Job Search Journey to offer strategic advice and provide guidance to job seekers onsite.
The 17th edition of Careers UAE, an event dedicated to empowering UAE nationals in the workforce and held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, will welcome a host of regional and international companies offering diverse employment prospects to Emiratis at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from 9-11 April.

The Job Search Journey will consist of four main stations where a Bayt.com expert will guide and advise the job seeker. From perfecting a CV to acing the application and interview process, Bayt.com’s onsite initiative is set to boost Emirati confidence and competence when entering the job market.

The three-day job fair aims to build on the success of last year’s exhibition which saw thousands of Emirati graduates and job seekers finding employment avenues and internship opportunities across the automotive, aviation, banking, construction, energy, telecoms, healthcare, real-estate and oil and gas sectors.
The event will educate visitors on how their skills and qualifications are best suited for different professions in the public and private sectors through three days of conferences, interviews and an insight into new employment opportunities.
