The best winter camps for kids in Dubai

It’s almost time for winter break, and you want to make sure the kids will stay entertained throughout. Keep them busy with these fantastic camps.

Alliance Française Dubai
French-speaking kids aged five to nine can join this Christmas camp to improve their language skills while playing non-stop.

There’s a full programme of activities in store, including arts and crafts, songs, dancing, games, plus a morning snack and lunch at the Alliance’s Café Oden.

British Orchard
Little campers will learn more about poetry at this winter camp through drama, games and play. With activities based on stories by Julia Donaldson, kiddies aged one to four years old will embark on a journey of discovery through words, improving their English language skills along the way.

They will also be introduced to different concepts by meeting animals through literature.

The winter camp at British Orchard Nursery is available in all of the pre-school’s branches across Dubai.

Le Méridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina
This five-day winter camp is all about fun and games courtesy of the very family-friendly Club Mina.

Suitable for kids aged four and up, the packed schedule includes football, cricket, volleyball and water sports such as kayaking, paddle boat and boat rides.

Little ones will also stay active with Get Fit Kids classes hosted by the club’s fitness team.

Junior chefs can take part in healthy cooking workshops, while art lovers can grab their brushes and let their imaginations run wild at painting and festive design workshops.

STEM for Kids
The new trend in learning, STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths, and this winter camps covers all four with a series of activities.

Kids aged five to 11 will learn about the different disciplines through robotics, civil and mechanical, aerospace, and environmental engineering, plus computer programming.

This camp will take place at Rising School Dubai and Rove Downtown Hotel.
