Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed meet to discuss Emirati affairs – in pictures

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, met on Monday to discuss issues concerning the country and its citizens.

At Al Bahr Palace in Abu Dhabi, the pair spoke of ways to enhance the country’s global standing, under the leadership of President Sheikh Khalifa, the state news agency Wam reported.

They also wished security, stability and prosperity to the UAE and its people.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah; Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region; Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed, Abu Dhabi Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain Region, Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council; Sheikh Saif bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; and Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak, Minister of Tolerance, among others.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed then met with a delegation from the Department of Community Development – an Abu Dhabi government entity tasked with improving the lives of the emirate’s citizens and residents .

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed and the delegation discussed the department’s initiatives, including a programme that provides low-income Emiratis with social benefits.

Sheikh Mohamed told the team that the UAE’s leadership is keen to provide universal social welfare to the country’s people. He also said he was proud of the country’s workers, who are “strengthening the reputation and credibility of the country.”
