Regarding the delay of Expo 2020 Dubai
“Postponing Expo 2020 Dubai for a year underpins the UAE’s efforts, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. The UAE places the health and safety of citizens, residents, visitors, and all Expo 2020 Dubai organisers at the top of its priorities. This move underlines the UAE’s solidarity with the global community in facing the exceptional current circumstances and the challenges that all countries are experiencing as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
