I am honoured to congratulate HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on the 12th anniversary of his accession day. Every year, His Highness calls on the public to thank someone who has had an impact on our lives and achievements in the service of our homeland. This year, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum thanks HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. This echoes the feelings of all Emiratis who love and respect HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the exceptional leader and distinctive personality. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed is keen on the well-being of all Emiratis and dedicates all his time to ensure the progress and development of the UAE and consolidate the foundations of national cohesion in the UAE. The international humanitarian and philanthropic efforts of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan have helped eradicate many diseases that threaten the lives of millions of people around the world, carrying on the charitable legacy and generosity of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who laid the foundations for humanitarian work within the UAE. The values of giving and doing good deeds have become key components of the UAE’s humanitarian mission in lending a helping hand to the needy all over the world.
While we congratulate HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on this occasion, which is dear to our hearts, we thank and congratulate HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his efforts in serving our nation. We renew our pledge to continue our efforts in the Year of Zayed, to achieve the vision of Their Highnesses to make the UAE always rank first. We pray to Allah to continue to bless the UAE with all progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.
