Manitowoc Foodservice is excited to showcase its latest product innovation from the brand at ‘Gulfood’ – the Merrychef eikon e2s. The smallest high-speed oven combines three heat technologies to provide cooking times up to 20 times faster than a conventional oven, and is ideal for any operation wanting to prepare fresh, hot food on demand where space is at a premium.

Featuring easyTouch® technology, ventless cooking capabilities, quiet operation and up to 1024 cooking programmes, the newest addition to the Merrychef eikon series is user friendly, versatile and provides consistent levels of performance aimed at continually exceeding operator expectations. The eikon e2s is the ideal way to cook, reheat, toast and bake a wide range of food items such as toasted sandwiches, pizzas and wraps. Available in two exterior cool-to-the-touch options: ‘Classic’, featuring a stainless steel exterior and ‘Trend’, which offers a choice of two colour exteriors (red and black). Another highlight on the Manitowoc stand is the all new, state of the art Filter Quick fryer featuring Auto Filtration with an integrated Oil Quality Sensor (optional), from leading brand Frymaster®.  As the latest addition to the growing family of oil-conserving fryers from Manitowoc Foodservice, FilterQuick puts automatic filtration at the operator’s fingertips, to help them produce outstanding results whilst using 40% less oil and 10% less energy than previous models.  The SMART4U® technology, such as the Oil Attendant, which automatically replenishes oil from an in-cabinet oil supply helps control food and oil quality, oil life and equipment performance, all while improving efficiency and frying superiority.

For perfect cooking results, low energy consumption and functional design, visitors can see and touch Manitowoc’s most advanced combi steamer to-date, the new Convotherm 4®.  Manufactured with world-class technology and unrivalled aesthetic design and functionality, the Convotherm 4 is available in a choice of two controllers – easyTouch® or easyDialTM.  For highly automated processes, select the Convotherm 4 with easyTouch or for maximum flexibility, choose easyDial to witness new standards in manual operation.

Other products on display will include the latest cutting edge advancements in air impingement and conveyor technology from the Lincoln brand® with the Lincoln Impinger 3240. The Impinger 3240 has been specifically designed to bake up to 35% faster than other conveyor ovens, with no noise increase or loss of product quality. And what’s more its microprocessor guarantees controlled bake time and conveyor speed to ensure consistent quality with every bake.
