The M-Station is the latest and largest power production and desalination plant in the UAE, with current production capacity of 2,060 megawatts (MW) of electricity, and 140 million imperial gallons of water a day (MIGD), with a total investment exceeding AED 10 billion. The M-Station adheres to the highest standards of availability, reliability, and efficiency, while adopting the latest and most advanced international technologies. The expansion project includes establishing new 700MW power generation units, which will add to the stations current production capacity. The M-Station will be capable of producing 2,760MW by 2018.
