As part of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA)’s keenness to enhance cooperation with international companies to share best experiences and international practices and developments in the energy sector, HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, welcomed Sebastien Arbola, CEO of ENGIE Middle East, South & Central Asia and Turkey, who headed a high-level delegation from ENGIE.
Al Tayer welcomed the delegation and stressed on the importance of such meetings in enhancing cooperation. He also reviewed the most important programmes, projects, and initiatives undertaken by DEWA, to promote the sustainability and green economy of Dubai, and the establishment of infrastructure for electricity and water services in Dubai, as per the best international standards.
From their side, the ENGIE delegation presented the latest solutions and technologies they are offering, in the field of traditional and renewable energy production, and in the development of smart and sustainable solutions that contribute to the promotion of a low carbon economy. Arbola expressed his interest in participating in DEWA’s projects, and contributing to the sustainable growth of Dubai.
