The Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) took part in the Global Manufacturing and Industrialization Summit (GMIS) held at Paris-Sorbonne University, Abu-Dhabi, from the 27th till the 30 of March 2017. The GMIS was under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. GOIC participated in this Summit in its capacity as a Strategic Partner of the Global Value Chain Market (GVCM), a business matchmaking platform dedicated to increasing regional and international partnerships and secure contracts. His Excellency Mr. Abdulaziz Bin Hamad Al-Ageel, Secretary General of GOIC, stated: “GOIC’s participation in the GMIS highlights its importance in shaping a global industrial vision based on knowledge economy, particularly the 4th generation of industrial revolution applications that are increasingly gaining ground in the operation and management of the industrial operation and logistics.” He added: “Holding the GMIS in the UAE serves as an international recognition of the serious steps taken by the GCC states to focus on the industrial sector, in addition to their electronic readiness.”
GOIC also took part in the accompanying exhibition. Its booth featured an overview of the Organization’s various programs such as the Gulf Subcontracting and Partnership Exchange (GSPX), the Industrial Market Information and its IMI Plus, the Training and Capacity Development (TCD), the SME Industrial Technical Assistance (ITA), the Manufacturing Investment Opportunities Program (MIOP) and the Industrial Studies and Policies (ISP).
