There are lots of culinary experiences in Dubai that leave you thinking that they’re the GOAT [Greatest Of All Time], however there are only a few chefs actually leave you with a staggering experience that you’ll remember for a very long time.
Ossiano at the Atlantis the Palm is one of them. Italian chef Davide Oldani, who has won Michelin stars for his restaurant D’O, is joining forces with Ossiano’s chef de cuisine Grégoire Berger for a two-night culinary experience in March 2019.
The Four Hands Dinner which is a seven-course menu, will take place at the restaurant located at Atlantis, The Palm, from 6.30pm to 10.30pm on March 8 and 9, for AED 830 (US$226) per person.
Highlights of the bespoke menu include golden foie gras with confit apples and velouté of cauliflower, lobster, scent of lemon and trout roe. A dish of breadcrumbs, black pepper, Marsala wine and rice is on the menu, along with sea bass and D’O caviar and the challans duck with orange. Dessert comes in the form of black sesame and vanilla textures. Grape pairings will be selected by Oldani himself. Guests can also enjoy a live performance from in-house duo Clarita and Julia.
Oldani, from Milan, Italy, has been at the helm of his Michelin-starred restaurant D’O, in his hometown of Cornaredo, since 2003. He has a stellar reputation for using raw materials and creating culinary experiences based on simplicity.
