Anniversary event spotlights Dubai’s status as global marine capital
Dubai International Boat Show will host 19 superyachts; 38 regional and global launches
Exciting on-water experiences for visitors with expanded beach entertainment area
Opening tomorrow, Dubai’s status as the world’s most exciting leisure marine hub will be highlighted with a breath-taking display of luxury superyachts, thrilling hydrosports and water stunts, cutting-edge water technology and exciting prize giveaways at Dubai International Boat Show’s 2017 edition. From February 28 to March 4 the event’s venue, Dubai International Marine Club, will be the hub for the best-in-show of the marine industry.
With 450 of the most exciting yachts, boats and other personal watercraft, 87 new exhibitors and brands and a family friendly beach area featuring music, food and entertainment, the 25th anniversary of Dubai International Boat Show will give water enthusiasts from around the world a reason to celebrate.
Luxury yacht launches take centre stage each year at Dubai International Boat Show. This year’s edition will host an impressive 38 global and regional launches including the 77-metre Silverfast by Silver Yachts, the 70-metre Joy by Feadship and the 47-metre Majesty 155 from UAE-based manufacturer Gulf Craft and many more.
A massive showing of 19 superyachts will join Dubai International Boat Show’s array of ships this year, and exhibitors including brands such as Fairline Yachts, 3M Marine, Seabob, Overblue Yachts, DEPA Yacht Interiors and Ortega Submersibles will display their offerings for the first time. Also making their Dubai International Boat Show debut are exhibitors from Morocco, Latvia, Belgium and Bulgaria who will join top brands and companies from nearly 60 countries.

Dubai International Boat Show will also bring the best in marine expertise as the Middle East Yachting Conference invites industry leaders to discuss hot topics on February 27th at an all-day event at The Westin, Mina Seyahi.
Co-located with Dubai International Boat Show for the 10th year will be the Dive Middle East Exhibition (DMEX) and back bigger than ever, the Supercar Promenade will offer visitors the chance to experience even more of the latest vehicles from premier manufacturers. The Marine Art Gallery and VIP Lounge will provide a calm retreat into a world of art and luxury.
For the first time ever, two lucky winners of the Dubai International Boat Show’s hashtag-powered Extreme Adventure competition will use their social media savvy to land a seat on an adrenalin-pumped ride aboard an extreme catamaran driven by a top Team Australia pilot.
At the Dubai International Boat Show watercraft comes in all shapes and sizes, and this year’s event serves as an ideal regional launch platform for a range of submersibles, fishing drones, high-tech toys and more. Hands-on boating experiences and high-flying stunts will be on deck all week long at the expanded beach entertainment area.
Getting into the Dubai International Boat Show is easier than ever this year. Free visitor parking is available at Skydive Dubai and Nakheel’s multi-storey car park on Palm Jumeirah with shuttle buses available at both locations. Water taxis will also be available at Skydive Dubai, and visitors are encouraged to use the Dubai Tram, connecting to the venue via the Marina Towers Tram station.
The 25th Dubai International Boat Show at Dubai International Marine Club – Mina Seyahi is open to trade visitors and the general public from 3pm – 9.30pm daily from Feb 28 to March 4, 2017. Tickets will be available at the gates for AED 60 each or visitors can pre-register online to save 15%.
