Demonstrating excellence as an integral part of its operations, Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) has been granted the ISO 20000-1: 2018 – IT Service Management System certification by the British Standards Institution (BSI), making it the first entity in the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) to receive the prestigious recognition.
The certification comes as a remarkable achievement for the Information Technology (IT) department of the authority, which has been recognised for its efforts in development and excellence, and seamless adoption of applications, best practices, and administrative systems, as per the global standards.
This accreditation confirms that the technical and digital systems being used by the department are in line with the latest updates and standards of the Technical Services Management System.
Mohamed Al Hammadi, director of Information Technology Department said: “Receiving the ISO 20000-1: 2018 – IT Service Management System certification is a significant achievement for the department and the authority, as it not only affirms our technical readiness to excel but also underlines our commitment to highest standards across the departments and sections.
