DEWA strengthens ties with Royal Danish Consulate General in Dubai

HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), welcomed HE Morten Siem Lynge, the Consul General of the Royal Danish Consulate in Dubai. The meeting discussed enhancing cooperation between the two parties, exchanging experiences, and reviewing the latest developments in energy. This comes within the framework of diplomatic and consular visits to DEWA.
Al Tayer welcomed the Consul General and explained the importance of cooperation between DEWA and Danish companies, and working to develop them on a wider scale to benefit from both experiences.
Al Tayer presented DEWA’s most important development projects and strategic initiatives in Dubai, which support the vision of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. DEWA’s projects support the UAE Vision 2021, and the Dubai Plan 2021. The Dubai Plan 2021 includes ambitious initiatives and development projects that combine economic growth with sustainable energy and the environment, to ensure a green economy.
The Consul General commended DEWA’s efforts and its role in promoting sustainable development in Dubai. He also thanked Al Tayer for his warm welcome, and for providing this opportunity for both parties to discuss and enhance cooperation
