Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has announced its sponsorship of the 6th Nad Al Sheba (NAS) Sports Tournament, which is organised by the Dubai Sports Council under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council of Dubai, and Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council. The tournament is held during the Holy Month of Ramadan under the theme ‘Unlimited Abilities’. DEWA is the strategic partner of NAS, which is the biggest of its kind with respect to its various sports games and value of prizes. DEWA’s sponsorship of the sports tournament is part of its efforts to consolidate and encourage a culture of sports in society.

This supports Dubai’s efforts to become a friendly city for people of determination and create an environment that allows them to unleash their capabilities and potential,” added Al Tayer.
This year’s NAS Sports Tournament will be held from May 17 to June 8 2018 and will include 11 sports competitions. Over 5,000 men and women athletes compete for titles and prizes worth over AED 6 million.
