Announcing its newly anticipated cinema camera, Canon’s EOS C700 which is regarded as the brand’s flagship to the region, was unveiled at the 23rd edition of CABSAT.
Delivering the latest in entertainment media solutions and technologies to the MENA region, the three-day trade show will run from 21-23 March at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Along with His Highness Sheikh Hasher bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, Director General of Dubai’s Department of Information and Nayla Al Khaja, CEO/Producer of D-Sevem Motion Pictures, Anurag Agrawal, Managing Director, Canon Middle East, unveiled the new camera to delegates at the show.
He said: “The next generation EOS C700 Digital Cinema Camera incorporates Canon’s learnings based on professional feedback from across the world and the Middle East over the last five years.
“With an all-new modular design aimed at high-end cinema production, the C700 brings an all new power and flexibility expected in the A-Camera market. Featuring a Super35mm sensor that shoots up-to 4.5K, numerous recording options, and an upcoming RAW update, the C700 promises superb image and build quality.”
