His Highness Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has met with President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi of the Republic of Yemen, on the sidelines of the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The meeting dealt with bilateral relations and ways to further enhance them and develop aspects of joint cooperation between the two countries in various fields for the benefit the peoples of the two countries.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the latest developments with regards to bilateral, regional and international efforts, including those of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition, aimed to ensure the liberation of all the Yemeni regions, in addition to restoring security and stability in Yemen and the region.
For his part, the Yemeni President conveyed his greetings to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, wishing the UAE and its people further progress and prosperity.
The meeting was attended by Dr Sultan Bin Ahmad Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State, Salem Khalifa Al Ghafli, UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen, and Khaled Al Yamani, Yemeni Minister of Foreign Affairs.
