Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is organising the 19th Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) under the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and President of DEWA, from 23-25 October 2017. Held under the theme ‘At the forefront of sustainability,’ the exhibition is a global event for Dubai to share the concepts of sustainability across the sectors of Energy, Water, Environment, Green Economy, Development and Smart Cities with the world, in line with DEWA’s endeavours to maintain its status as a leading sustainable world class utility.
WETEX is a leading international platform sponsored by 100 national and international organisations and companies. DEWA regards its sponsors as sustainability partners who actively support social, environmental and economic development in Dubai by promoting proper resource management, rationalisation and raising awareness about sustainability and environmental preservation.

The three titanium sponsors of WETEX are Siemens AG (Germany), ACWA Power (KSA), the Sustainable City (Dubai), while the government partners are Dubai Municipality, Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), and Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (ADWEA).
