The folks at HMD Global will have a busy first week of December, because the company announced that it will hold a launch event in India right a day after the already announced global launch event in Dubai on 5th December. The launch event in India will be for the local market, probably a presentation of the Devices that will be announced a day before in Dubai.
FoneArena reports that HMD started sending invitations to Nokia Mobile’s December 6th event in India. The device that will most likely be announced in Dubai and a day later (on a local level) in India is the global version of the Nokia X7, already available in China. It is rumored that the device’s global name will be Nokia 8.1.
The announcement(s) are next week, so we won’t have to wait much longer to see new Nokia phones. The exciting penta-lens phone probably won’t be announced next week, because rumors place its announcement in January/February 2019.
