“To support the directives of our wise leadership for sports to be part of Emirati culture, we make sure that DEWA’s female sports teams take part in various local and international championships. We encourage all our employees, and female staff in particular, to make physical activities an integral part of their daily routine. Sports plays a key role in promoting a healthy and vibrant lifestyle as well as spreading positive energy and enhancing social networking and communication among staff in a positive and motivating environment that balances their professional and social lives. The Sheikha Hind Women’s Sports Tournament is particularly important because of its diversity and role in highlighting individual and collective abilities, with enthusiastic teams eager to win the prestigious titles,” said HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA.
